Effective goal planning is the key to achieving an extraordinary life.

Writing down your goals isn’t enough without planning the specific actions required to achieve the final result.  I personally use the SMART method:

S  – Specific: goal is direct, meaningful and detailed
M – Measurable: goal is quantifiable and progress can be tracked
A – Attainable: goal is realistic and not a fantasy
R –  Relevant: goal aligns with your highest values & purpose
T  – Time-based: goal has a timeline

My goals go through a brainstorming session of all the actions that required to achieve it.   Each of these actions become “sub-goals” and they too, have a list of specific actions, measures and timeframes to deliver.

My goals are reviewed every couple of months and tweaked as required.

I also include into my daily tasks specific “sub-goal” actions which keeps me on track to meet the deadline.
