What is Coaching?

Coaching empowers a client to develop their own capabilities to take control of their life.

A Life Coach helps clients find clarity in what they want to achieve in life and then supports them along the journey to achieve their goals.

Working with a Life Coach helps people to master the tools to implement effective strategies to find the solutions and the motiviation to live a fulfilling life and to be the best version of themselves.

A great Life Coach has dedicated their own life to personal development, human behaviour, mindfulness and wellness.
It is a person who is committed to improving their own life and has invested a great deal of time and money into their own personal development and science based education and training.

What Coaching is not

A Life Coach is not a Therapist

The main difference between a Life Coach and a Therapist is that a therapist focuses on your past issues. This can be very therapeutic as it allows you to release emotions that may have been bottled up for a long period of time and may be holding you back from pursuing new opportunities.  A Therapist is a great listening platform but does not provide advice.

A Life Coach will take the time to understand past issues and how they may be effecting your current position but the focus is on your future and where you want to be.

A Life Coach is not a Counsellor

The main objective of a Counseller is to provide analysis and support on addressing your emotional well-being focusing on your past and present state.

A life coach is not a consultant who is going to tell you what to do, or diagnose health conditions or prescribe medications.

A Life Coach focuses on your present state and your future life of who you want to be and what you wish to accomplish in your life.
